A place to study personal finance
at the pace your life has earned.
Structured programmes for adults in their forties, fifties, and beyond — taught by faculty with working knowledge of Malaysia's regulatory and investment landscape.
What We Teach
Three programmes, each with a different scope and commitment.
Each programme has a fixed duration, a small cohort, and written materials supplied for reading between sessions. Fees are listed within the programme description; there are no additional costs.
Personal Finance Studies

- Malaysian regulatory and tax landscape
- Capital management at retirement age
- Written materials supplied between sessions
Investing for the Second Career
An eight-session course for adults reorienting toward consultancy, part-time professional work, or a small enterprise. The course examines how investment posture should change when income patterns shift. Honest about the trade-offs. Held at the academy's premises over four weeks.

- Consultancy and small business financial structures
- Taught by faculty with relevant practice experience

Saturday Reading Group

Suited to those with some grounding in the subject who would value a careful, conversational study with peers.
- Single set text, rotating by cohort
- Discussion grounded in participants' circumstances
- Peers of comparable life stage
- Six Saturday mornings
Why Study with Us
What distinguishes our approach.
Faculty with field experience
Our lecturers have worked in Malaysian financial services, not only written about it. They are familiar with EPF, unit trusts, and the practical realities of retirement planning in this country.
Small cohorts
Every programme runs with a maximum of ten participants. Questions are taken seriously. Discussions connect to the actual situations people bring to the room.
Taught in person, Petaling Jaya
All sessions take place at the academy's premises in Surian, Petaling Jaya. In-person teaching allows for the kind of conversation that written materials alone cannot replicate.
Honest about trade-offs
We do not simplify what is complicated. The programmes describe the conditions under which different financial choices are likely to work well, and when they may not.
Written materials included
Each full-term and evening programme supplies reading materials for study between sessions. The Saturday seminar centres on a single chosen text, supplied to participants before the first meeting.
Structured, time-bounded
Each programme has a clear beginning and end. You know what you are committing to before you enrol. There are no open-ended subscriptions or rolling course structures.
